Crafters know if you dive deep into any craft you will find a treasure trove of creativity, skill, and passion.

Some creators have a certain need for reflection on the project which is not procrastination. I've never been a fan of labels which serve no purpose other than limiting possibilities! Furthermore, labels are inaccurate and damaging, not to mention stifling.

At any rate, I am concerned how craft is considered to be insufficient, shrugged off as inferior, or too cutesy. Let's support more of our local artisans and craft fairs as well as our new friends we meet here on our website. We can see first hand the dedication, skill and artistry that breathes life into each creation.

Consequently, crafters often have their fair share of ingenuity and integrity as they plan and experiment with the many ideas they have for their project. The time it takes to complete a craft can be extraordinary considering the learning process that goes into each project. Therefore, crafters expect mistakes and delays. They know that some of their greatest works came after several failed attempts. It is through failure that we grow and learn. Intuitively, creators know this and are resilient and persistent.
